Ology Press Publication Ethics

Ology Journals adheres to ethical publishing practices and utilizes an open peer review model to guarantee the high quality and integrity of academic content. To improve the science community, we comply to COPE guidelines on publication ethics. Ology guarantees that all our authors, reviewers, and editors abide by ethical policies that they control.

Author Specifications

The work submitted for publication has not been distributed or considered for peer-reviewed publication elsewhere. It is important to provide the names and affiliations of all individuals and ensure that they are adequately credited for their involvement in the work. A Statement of Ethics must be included in research studies that involve human or animal subjects, outlining the steps taken for ethical research practice and reporting. The publication board does not encourage scientific misconduct and reserves the right to remove referee reports if they contain individual abuse or represent plagiarized data, duplication of text, or figures.

Editor Specifications

The editorial board is tasked with determining the authenticity of the submitted work without regard to the authors' race, gender, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy. It is important for editors to keep confidentiality about the evaluated research, and unpublished research should not be used in an editor's own research without the author's consent.

Reviewer Specifications

It is prohibited for reviewers to discuss the authors' work in public and to keep the manuscript for their personal use. The reviewers are obligated to respond promptly and submit reviews within the agreed-upon timeframe. It is important for reviewers to disclose any relationships or activities that could affect their evaluation of a manuscript and withdraw from the peer-review process if they have a conflict of interest.
